A day of beauty
Hello my darling onesSuch a beautiful day out today I simply had to take a chance and thaw myself out from the deep freeze that seems to have covered over my part of the world … so very early this morning, I threw on my sneakers and went for a quick jog with my Angel dog … she and I made short order of the beach before we turned back towards home for breakfast. It was refreshing to be out in the warm air, feeling the ocean breeze without the bone chilling numbness that has been the recent spate of weather. Most of you have heard of my Angel dog but I don’t think you’ve been properly introduced … She’s a 6 year old chocolate lab/pit bull mix that I’ve had since she was just a baby and she’s 85 pounds of motivation. When she decides she wants to go in a certain direction, it’s pretty much her walking me instead of the other way around but she does make sure that I remain at the forefront of your minds when you think of leg worship … or whole body worship, if the truth be told.After a quick shower (get your minds out of the gutter!), I took advantage of the lovely mid-morning warmth and put the windows down on the car while driving to an appointment with luxury. Hair colour, trim and a pedicure … a day spent with very little to worry about while others pampered and caressed me … which is just how my life should be, don’t you think? Luxuriously spent, I had my hair coloured with a vibrant red violet and honeyed blonde high lights while having my toes massaged and manipulated into pure ecstacy (wouldn’t all you stroker boys have positively died to witness such an act?) and then trimmed up nicely so I’m back to luscious curls … and all the while I was thinking of how wonderful it would be to have someone to do this for me every day … to have someone pamper my legs and feet at a moment’s notice.Wouldn’t you have liked to be there?
